Control Wins Critics‘ Choice Award in The Golden Joysticks and Receives 8 Nominations in The Game Awards

 
Wow… Where do we even begin? It’s been a crazy few weeks in these lands, with Control picking up and being shortlisted for a number of prestigious awards. First things first, thank you. It’s been a wild ride getting to this point and to see the Control team getting this sort of recognition means a great deal to everyone involved. Thank you once again!
 
Let us give you a rundown on what’s been going on and how YOU can help us…
 

THE GOLDEN JOYSTICK AWARDS

 
Earlier this month, Remedy and 505 Games attended The Golden Joystick Awards in London, where the Control team picked up the Critics‘ Choice Award. This was a total shock for the team. We had no idea we were in the running. A huge congrats to everyone in making this possible. Such a brilliant achievement and one we’re all very proud of!

Little did we know more was to come. Just a few days ago, Control received 8 nominations in the following categories at The Game Awards 2019. This is a huge moment for the team, but we need your help.
